People these days are killing me with the whole popularity thing over the Internet… Funny how important it is to be seen and acknowledged by other people; and even strangers to the say the least! How people’s confidence are based on the amount of likes and comments they have on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, etc. How they would go that extra mile just to reblog/repost photos and get more comments. Acting/posing pics way beyond the norm just to satisfy the audience. What ever happen to self-worth? Knowing how important and pretty you are without getting other people’s confirmation. In reality, people that you long for comments from, will probably never help you out when you’re stuck on the freeway with a flat tire. Will they even take time to visit you when life has taken it’s toll on you? Most of them will probably never call you on the phone and see how you’re doing. Why have 5,000 friends on Facebook but in reality you only have about 5 good friends from that massive list? Why take the time away from your real friends just to entertain fictitious ones? Just saying….

    You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, “I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.” You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
